Electrical Power EngineerJob Description The Electrical Power Engineer is responsible for designing and overseeing industrial power distribution systems from utility supply through plant-level infrastructure, ensuring reliability and code compliance. This role leads electrical design efforts, performs system studies, develops technical documentation, and supervises contractors while collaborating with clients on project requirements. The ideal candidate is a PE-licensed Electrical Engineer with extensive industrial experience, strong AutoCAD skills, and expertise in power system design. Responsibilities + Design and oversee industrial power distribution systems ensuring reliability and code compliance. + Lead electrical design efforts and perform system studies. + Develop technical documentation and supervise contractors. + Collaborate with clients to meet project requirements. Essential Skills + Bachelor's degree with active PE license required. + 10+ years of experience in industrial power distribution. + Strong AutoCAD experience. + Advanced knowledge of electrical design principles. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience in controls and the glass industry is a plus. + Strong communication skills. + Ability to travel as needed. Work Environment This is a 100% onsite engineering/design role. The position requires working closely with the Director in an industrial setting equipped with facilities for power distribution and layout, including glass furnaces and industrial equipment. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Toledo, OH. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $40.00 - $62.50/hr.
