Senior Electrical Engineer

Electrical Engineer Westlake, OH $55.00 - $70.00+ per hour (DOE) Monday-Friday | 40 hours/week Contract to Direct | Approx. 9 Months We are seeking an experienced Electrical Engineer for an onsite opportunity in Westlake, Ohio supporting advanced product development and manufacturing initiatives. This role is ideal for someone with strong hands-on circuit design experience and a background working with high voltage power electronics, heat management solutions, and board-level analog/digital design. The Electrical Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and troubleshooting electronic systems and circuit boards in a fast-paced engineering environment. This position will work closely with cross-functional teams to support new product development and manufacturing efforts.

Responsibilities:

Design and develop board-level analog and digital circuits using Altium Create schematics, PCB layouts, and bills of materials Develop heat management solutions for electronic circuit designs Support product development and manufacturing engineering activities Troubleshoot electrical systems including voltage transient, EMI, and susceptibility issues Design and support high voltage switch mode power supplies Work with MOSFETs, IGBTs, custom inductors, and transformers Support testing and validation of electronic systems and components Collaborate with engineering and production teams to improve product performance and reliability

Requirements:

Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering 8+ years of experience in a product development/manufacturing environment Hands-on experience designing analog and digital circuits Strong experience using Altium for PCB design Experience with high voltage electronics and power devices Knowledge of EMI troubleshooting and electrical testing Ability to work onsite in

Westlake, OH Preferred Experience:

Lamp ballast design and troubleshooting UV fluorescent or xenon arc lamp experience High voltage switch mode power supply design Working with 3-phase equipment up to 400
