This role ensures that production areas, utilities, and facility assets remain in optimal working conditions to minimize downtime and maintain compliance with safety and regulatory standards. What You'll Do
  • Perform routine and preventive maintenance on facility systems, including HVAC, electrical distribution, plumbing, compressed air, and building controls.
  • Troubleshoot and repair equipment issues to support manufacturing operations and reduce unplanned downtime.
  • Monitor and maintain facility infrastructure, such as lighting, doors, docks, roofs, floors, and structural components.
  • Support installation, relocation, and modification of equipment, coordinating with production, engineering, and outside contractors.
  • Respond to maintenance requests and work orders in a timely and efficient manner.
  • Maintain accurate maintenance records, logs, and documentation in the CMMS.
  • Assist with environmental, health, and safety (EHS) compliance, including inspections, audits, and corrective actions.
  • Perform basic fabrication tasks, such as carpentry, painting, welding, or light machining, depending on skill set.
  • Monitor facility utilities (water, gas, electrical, compressed air) and report abnormalities.
  • Participate in continuous improvement initiatives to enhance facility reliability, energy efficiency, and safety.
  • Support emergency response efforts, including equipment failures, weather events, or facility incidents. What You Bring
  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 2-5 years of experience in facilities maintenance, industrial maintenance, or a related trade.
  • Working knowledge of mechanical, electrical, and plumbing systems.
  • Ability to read and interpret technical manuals, schematics, and blueprints.
  • Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and basic diagnostic equipment.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem‑solving skills.
  • Ability to lift 50+ lbs and work in manufacturing environments (heat, noise, heights, confined spaces).
  • Attention to detail and commitment to quality.
  • Strong communication and teamwork skills.
  • Ability to prioritize tasks in a fast‑paced environment.
