About this PositionGENERAL SUMMARY
This position will facilitate learning for a custom Electrical Construction program at a public high school located in Tulsa, OK. Courses are based on DC & AC circuit analysis, introduction to electrical trades, basic electrical wiring methods, and construction blueprint and specifications. Assignment begins April 15, 2026. Required QualificationsEducation:
Associate's degree in Electrical Construction technologies from an accredited university or college, or certification from an industry recognized technical training program. Other combinations of education and industry experience may be substituted for degree/certification requirements.Experience:
Evidences a history of demonstrating ethical and professional behavior. Five years of evidenced Electrical Construction experience. Teaching experience preferred. Demonstrated success in collaborating with diverse constituencies. Certifications, Registrations, and/orLicenses:
Valid Oklahoma driver's license. Electrical Journeyman license. Preference given to an individual that is authorized to teach OSHA-30 general industry. Skills, Proficiencies, and/orKnowledge:

Ability to plan, organize and fulfill complex initiatives. Computer skills to include electronic communications, word processing, and the ability to use specific software associated with the position are necessary. Ability to maintain high standards of work, initiative, commitment, ethics, professional responsibility and judgment. Ability to work effectively with and promote diverse populations. Superior interpersonal skills—including the ability to effectively recognize and resolve complex problems in a constructive manner. Must exhibit characteristics of a team player, willing to take initiative and assume responsibility. Ability to foster and support innovation and excellence.Communication Skills:
Must demonstrate excellent oral and written communication skills. Must possess excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to effectively recognize and resolve conflict.
