N/A POSITION SUMMARY
The Electrical Engineer serves as a central lead in the development and implementation of electrical systems for industrial applications, primarily focusing on power generation packages and supporting auxiliary systems. This role is integral to the entire system lifecycle, from initial conceptual design and documentation—including schematics, P&IDs, software code, and functional specifications—to final commissioning and handover.
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS
(The following duties and responsibilities are all essential job functions, as defined by the ADA, except for those that begin with the word "may") Serves as a key stakeholder in the design and implementation of software, hardware, instrumentation, DC distribution, and low/medium voltage AC distribution systems. Acts as the Engineering liaison for the manufacturing of mobile power generation packages driven by gas turbines, reciprocating engines, and battery systems. Assists in commissioning newly manufactured packages to ensure electrical and control systems operate according to functional specifications. Develop process specifications to formalize standardized tasks and strengthen quality control practices. Creates component specifications to assist the procurement of parts for new build manufacturing. Establishes documentation outlining operational criteria for Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT). Reviews electrical system developments to ensure designs comply with industry standards and legislation. Supports the installation, commissioning, and maintenance of mobile power generation and battery storage packages. Acts as the approval authority for final drawing release by performing redline/markup drawing reviews for electrical and controls components. Contributes to the development of new products and the advancement of existing product lines. Manages the development of comprehensive electrical and control system operation and maintenance manuals. Serves as the Engineering liaison for procurement and supply chain regarding technical proposals and product offerings. Evaluates new product/service offerings from suppliers to build technical proposals. Provides onsite and remote troubleshooting support for deployed assets. Performs other related duties as assigned to assist with successful operations and business continuity.
POSITION REQUIREMENTS
Must be legally authorized to work in the United States without the need for sponsorship. Must be at least 18 years of age or older. Successfully passes all applicable general pre employment testing including but not limited to: background check, pre employment drug screening, pre employment fit tests, pre employment aptitude and/or competency assessment(s) and pre employment Pulmonary Function Test (PFT). In person, predictable attendance in Ponca City, OK. Overtime as required based on business needs. Proficiency in spoken English language.
EDUCATION/EXPERIENCE LEVEL
Required:
Electrical Engineering degree from an accredited institution of higher education. 5-7 years of previous Low Voltage (LV) and Medium Voltage (MV) design experience. Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical/controls drawings and schematics. Specific knowledge of power generation packages, specializing in electrical, instrumentation, and/or controls.
Preferred:
Specialized knowledge of gas turbine and reciprocating engine control systems (e.g., Woodward, Allen Bradley, Siemens). Knowledge of GE or other industrial gas turbine related mechanical systems.
QUALIFICATIONS, SKILLS, COMPETENCIES, AND ABILITIES
Professional communication of technical concepts to clients and executive management. Technical design expertise in Low and Medium Voltage AC/DC distribution and instrumentation. Hardware and software design for industrial control systems, including P&ID development. Technical authorship of process specifications, FAT documentation, and maintenance manuals. Troubleshooting expertise for complex electrical and control systems both on site and remotely. Cross functional collaboration within engineering, manufacturing, procurement, and field teams.
PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS/WORK ENVIRONMENT

The employee works primarily indoors and will be sitting for prolonged periods at a desk while keyboarding, with repetitive motions with wrists, hands, and fingers. Vision abilities required include close vision and the ability to adjust focus while reading and staring at a computer monitor. The Employee must speak clearly and audibly, and have the ability to hear, understand, and distinguish speech and other sounds (e.g., building alarms) from in person speech, telephone, or remote communication. While in the office, the Employee may be called upon to stand, kneel, push, pull, reach overhead, stoop, crouch, climb, and lift; therefore, the Employee should be able to independently lift 25 lbs. The employee must be able to access and navigate each department. When visiting the manufacturing work environments including shops and warehouses, an employee in this position will be subject to exposure to dirt, dust, noise, vibration, moving objects, mechanical parts, and equipment hazards. Given these conditions, the employee is required to wear company mandated and company issued Personal Protective Equipment (PPE), including but not limited to safety hat, steel toe boots, safety glasses, ear protection, welding cap (if applicable), designated safety gloves according to role, and must strictly adhere to all safety policies and procedures. An employee must demonstrate an understanding of safety procedures and the ability to work in a safety sensitive environment. Work hours may include early morning, late afternoon/evening hours, and weekends in combination depending on job demands.
