- Design and review schematics, PCB layouts, motor control systems, firmware integration plans, and associated technical documentation.
- Apply simulation and modeling tools to evaluate system performance, thermal behavior, EMI/EMC robustness, and long-term durability.
- Perform reliability engineering activities including FMEA, root cause analysis, and risk mitigation planning.
- Support international regulatory compliance and certification efforts (e.g., CE, UL, TÜV), ensuring global deployability.
- Contribute to prototype development, laboratory testing, field trials, and commercialization programs.
- Collaborate cross-functionally with Mechanical, Firmware, Systems Engineering, Manufacturing, Supply Chain, and Field Operations teams to ensure integrated system performance.
- Interface with customers and vendors to resolve technical challenges and align product capabilities with market needs.
- Drive innovation and contribute to Halliburton's intellectual property portfolio.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives focused on reliability enhancement, cost optimization, and manufacturability.
- Mentor junior engineers and influence technical standards (Principal and Advisor levels). Qualifications Required
- Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or closely related discipline.
- Experience in electrical system design, testing, and product development.
- Experience with power electronics, motor control systems, or industrial drive technologies.
- Working knowledge of reliability engineering, validation testing, and engineering lifecycle processes. Preferred
- Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or related field.
- Experience with Variable Frequency Drives (VFD) or Variable Speed Drives (VSD).
- Knowledge of international certification and compliance standards (CE, UL, TÜV).
- Experience supporting product certification or regulatory approval processes.
- Experience in oil & gas, Artificial Lift, or harsh-environment electrical systems.
