Principal Controls Engineer About Us:
Nanoverse Technologies is a well-funded startup with the Center of Excellence in Beaverton, Oregon. About the role:
The Principal Controls Engineer will be responsible for designing, developing, and implementing advanced control systems for semiconductor manufacturing processes. This role requires a deep understanding of control theory, semiconductor equipment, and processes. Assignments call for up to 10% domestic and international travel.

An individual that thrives in a collaborative working environment that flexes your skills as a technical leader. You have a deep understanding of control theory and algorithms on top of practical experience with real world hardware and applications.
What you will do:
Design and develop control systems for semiconductor manufacturing equipment. Implement and optimize control algorithms to improve process efficiency and product quality. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to integrate control systems with existing manufacturing processes. Conduct system analysis and troubleshooting to ensure optimal performance. Mentor engineering team members in control system design and implementation. Stay updated with the latest advancements in control technology and semiconductor manufacturing. Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulations.
What we are looking for:
Bachelor's or master's degree in Electrical engineering, Control Engineering, or related field. Minimum of 10 years of experience in control system design and implementation, preferably in the semiconductor industry. Proficiency in control theory, automation, and process optimization. Experience with semiconductor manufacturing equipment and processes. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Excellent communication and leadership abilities. Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
Preferred Skills:
Knowledge of advanced control algorithms and techniques. Familiarity with industry standards and regulations. Experience with software tools for control system design and simulation.

Do what it takes to meet the schedule and communicate timely/openly obstacles and identified risk. Track and communicate issues related to instrument operations and performance back to senior management and work closely with sales to communicate updates to the customer as needed. This job is located in Beaverton, Oregon.
