Roles and Responsibilities:

The Senior Electrical Engineer has the following summary of duties and responsibilities on a regular basis . This list is not inclusive of all required duties that may be assigned by management.

• Perform engineering calculations and electrical system design
• Effectively communicate design options to clients and ownership groups
• Complete projects within budget and schedule
• Extensive knowledge of building systems, related disciplines, codes and design standards
• Training and management of project team members
• Construction administration services, including site reports, submittal reviews and RFI responses
• Edit specifications and assist in maintaining technical standards
• Review construction cost estimates
• Participate in business development activities
• Oversee and review design work by project team as the Engineer of Record Qualifications and skills:
• B.S. in Electrical Engineering or related degree
• 10+ years of industry experience
• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE)
• LEED Accreditation
• MS Office, Power Analysis Software (Easypower or SKM), limited Revit knowledge
• Analytical with strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills
• Excellent communication skills including phone, listening, verbal, and writing
• Highly adaptable and flexible
• Collaborative, diligent team player willing to go "above and beyond"
• Dependable, ethical, professional, and responsible with a strong work ethic
• Maintains positive attitude
• This position does not have supervision responsibilities.
