Job Description
Digital hardware design role responsible for complex digital circuit card design, high-speed data links, avionics electronics, prototype integration, qualification testing, and manufacturing support. Job Requirements Bachelor's degree with 5 or more years of relevant experience Advanced degree in a related field with 3 or more years of relevant experience U.S. Person or Permanent Resident Green Card holder Experience designing digital hardware or complex digital circuit cards Experience with high-speed data link design Experience designing, implementing, and testing digital circuit cards Experience with circuit analysis and schematic generation Experience supporting circuit card layout coordination Experience performing functional testing and prototype integration Experience supporting electrical qualification testing Preferred Skills Experience with Siemens EDA Xpedition Design and Layout Digital board design experience with multi-gigabit serial links Experience designing high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial or military avionics Experience using Jama or similar requirements management tools Experience with hardware architecture and design trade studies Experience designing and building integration support equipment Experience supporting early manufacturing builds Experience providing technical oversight to electrical designers Job Responsibilities Design high-reliability electronic circuits for commercial and military avionics Design, implement, and test complex digital circuit cards with high-speed data links Define and capture requirements for new hardware designs using enterprise tools Perform hardware architecture development and design trade studies Perform circuit analysis and schematic generation Provide technical oversight and coordination of circuit card layout Perform functional testing of circuit card prototypes Support circuit card prototype integration Design and build integration support equipment Support electrical qualification testing Support manufacturing during early unit builds Oversee work performed by less experienced electrical designers
