Job Description
An exciting opportunity is available for an Electrical Engineer in Springfield, MO, with a long-standing biopharmaceutical equipment and systems manufacturer that supports the production of vaccines, biologic drugs, cell therapies, and gene therapies. This is a hands-on opportunity to help design and support complex electrical and control systems for meaningful, highly specialized manufacturing equipment used by biotech and pharmaceutical customers around the world. Qualifications and responsibilities for this Electrical Engineer position include: Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering required. Minimum 3 years of experience with electrical power systems, including 400/480 VAC supply and motor control circuits preferred. Design and support electrical hardware, control panels, motor controls, instrumentation, PLC hardware, wiring systems, sensors, and electrical distribution systems. Lead electrical scope on active projects while working with project engineering, manufacturing, field service, and customer teams. Develop specifications, control hardware design documents, electrical schematics, instrument/control loop drawings, assembly drawings, and bills of materials. Support commissioning, startup, troubleshooting, field service needs, customer quality testing, and technical support. Knowledge of PLC hardware, process instrumentation, NEC/NFPA 70, and UL508 standards required; ATEX and IEC familiarity preferred. AutoCAD, Inventor, EPLAN, OEM equipment, Lean/Six Sigma, and Continuous Improvement experience are a plus.
Salary :
$65,000 - $80,000 per year, commensurate with experience. Benefits :
