Constellation Energy is seeking an Engineer, Electrical / I&C to support reliable, safe operation of power generation and energy facilities. In this role, you will design, analyze, and maintain electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) systems, including power distribution, protection, and control systems. Responsibilities include developing engineering calculations and drawings, supporting plant modifications, troubleshooting equipment issues, and ensuring compliance with regulatory and safety standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams on capital projects, support commissioning and testing, and implement improvements that enhance efficiency, reliability, and sustainability. Responsibilities Design and analyze electrical and I&C systems for power generation facilities Develop engineering calculations, drawings, and technical specifications Support plant modifications, upgrades, and capital projects Troubleshoot electrical and I&C equipment and system performance issues Ensure compliance with regulatory, safety, and industry standards Support commissioning, testing, and startup of new or modified systems Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations and maintenance Identify and implement reliability and efficiency improvements Prepare technical reports and documentation Provide technical support for operational and maintenance activities Required Skills Electrical power systems design Instrumentation and controls engineering PLC/DCS programming and configuration Protective relaying and coordination Electrical system modeling and analysis (e.g., ETAP, SKM) Control system schematics and wiring diagrams Regulatory and code compliance (NEC, IEEE, ISA) Troubleshooting and root cause analysis Project engineering and documentation Commissioning and testing of electrical/I&C systems
