Job Description

Our client, a global leader in renewable energy, power conversion, and industrial electrification solutions, is seeking an Electrical Test Engineer to join their team. As an Electrical Test Engineer, you will be part of the Manufacturing Test Engineering team supporting Production, Quality, and Product Engineering. The ideal candidate will have strong analytical skills, excellent troubleshooting abilities, and effective communication skills that will align successfully within the organization.

Pay Range:
$46.59/hour What's the Job? Execute functional testing and validation of power conversion equipment, including solar inverters, energy storage systems (BESS), and variable frequency drives (VFDs). Troubleshoot electrical, manufacturing, and test-related issues using engineering expertise and diagnostic equipment. Develop, maintain, and improve test plans, procedures, and documentation to enhance product quality and manufacturing efficiency. Support Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT) activities and collaborate with engineering teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives. Ensure compliance with safety, quality, calibration, LOTO, UL, IEC, and EHS requirements while maintaining a safe testing environment. What's Needed? Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field. 4+ years of experience in electrical testing, power electronics, inverter testing, manufacturing test engineering, or a similar environment. Hands-on experience using oscilloscopes, voltage probes, current probes, multimeters, and other electrical diagnostic tools. Strong troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and problem-solving capabilities involving electrical systems and power conversion equipment. Knowledge of manufacturing processes, Factory Acceptance Testing (FAT), electrical standards, and safety procedures such as UL, IEC, and LOTO. What's in it for Me?
