Includes activities linked to technical improvement of existing products and components Impacts departmental operations and responsible for planning/execution. The role has some autonomy but is focused on execution of activities within an operating discipline covered by standard functional practices and procedures. Some judgment may be required but this is typically with guidance. Job Description Roles and Responsibilities Design and develop electrical hardware systems, subassemblies, and associated engineering documentation for new product development, retrofit, modernization, and lifecycle support projects. Perform component selection and technical evaluation based on functional requirements, quality, reliability, cost, availability, and compliance considerations. Create, review, and maintain electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, interconnection drawings, panel layouts, single-line diagrams, and Bills of Materials (BOMs). Support hardware development for power and power conversion products, including electrical assemblies, control interfaces, and associated system integration. Partner closely with engineering teams to ensure effective integration of electrical and mechanical hardware within cabinets, enclosures, and product assemblies. Participate in design reviews, prototype builds, testing, validation, troubleshooting, and root cause analysis to ensure robust and reliable product performance. Collaborate with manufacturing, System, Engineering, Sourcing, Quality, Testing, Project management, and Service teams to support successful execution across the product lifecycle. Ensure designs are aligned with applicable industry standards (example, UL, IEC) safety requirements, and internal engineering processes. Lead engineering change management, technical documentation updates, and continuous product improvement initiatives. Contribute to efforts focused on standardization, simplification, quality improvement, and engineering productivity. Required Qualifications Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or related engineering discipline from an accredited university or college and 5+ years of experience, or master's degree in electrical hardware design within power, power conversion, automation, or industrial product engineering, and 2+ years of experience. Demonstrated experience in component selection, electrical documentation development, and hardware design execution. Understanding on Circuit design, safety design practices for Low Voltage and Medium Voltage power conversations products. Proficiency in creating and reviewing electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, panel layouts, and BOMs. Familiarity with
