Lawrence, PA Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Meet customer requirements while applying knowledge of NFPA codes including NEC and standards for oil and gas, and chemical industries Design grounding, heat trace, lighting, panel layouts, single line, and three-line diagrams for low voltage systems Size cable tray and conduit Commission and provide post startup support for the engineering designs Support customer contracts for 24/7 emergency response and preventive maintenanceRequirements:
The Ideal Candidate:
Will possess a BSEE with 7 or more years of relevant experience Must be able to design, develop, and test electrical equipment, components or systems Understands the fundamentals of process control Must possess the ability to apply mathematical and engineering principles and methods to electrical system designs Must be able to conduct research to produce design solutions and improvements Will be able to demonstrate expertise in a variety of the field's concepts, practices and procedures to junior engineers Will have strong communication skills and ability to interface with customers Must have the ability to travel, sometimes overnight to customer sites Will have ability to support on-call dutyCore Competencies:
