Staff Engineer Details:
Contract position $82.00 /hour First Shift (Monday through Friday from 08:00am to 05:00pm) Job Details Lead the design and layout of high-speed, multilayer printed circuit boards (PCBs) using Altium Designer Develop PCB stack-ups, routing strategies, and layout rules to optimize signal integrity, power integrity, and EMI/EMC performance Generate fabrication drawings, assembly drawings, bills of materials (BOMs), Gerber files, and other manufacturing documentation Collaborate with electrical, mechanical, and manufacturing teams to bring products from concept through production release Partner with PCB fabrication and assembly vendors to ensure manufacturability, quality, and cost-effectiveness Troubleshoot PCB design, layout, and production issues while implementing corrective actions and continuous improvements Participate in design reviews and ensure compliance with IPC, JEDEC, IEEE, and other industry standards
Staff Engineer Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Electronics Engineering, or a related field 5+ years of PCB design experience with a focus on high-speed digital designs Advanced proficiency with Altium Designer, including schematic capture, PCB layout, and documentation Strong understanding of PCB fabrication processes, materials, and Design for Manufacturability (DFM) Experience with fabrication packages including Gerbers, ODB++, assembly drawings, and BOMs Knowledge of controlled impedance routing, differential pairs, crosstalk mitigation, and signal/power integrity concepts Excellent troubleshooting, communication, and cross-functional collaboration skills We are an Equal Opportunity Employer and celebrate diversity at all levels of our organization.
