Constellation Energy seeks an Electrical Design/I&C Engineer to support utility-scale power generation and energy projects. In this role, you will design and review electrical and instrumentation & controls (I&C) systems, develop drawings and specifications, and ensure compliance with safety codes and industry standards. You will collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement reliable, sustainable solutions, support construction and commissioning, and troubleshoot system issues. Responsibilities Design and review electrical power and I&C systems for utility-scale energy facilities Develop engineering drawings, wiring diagrams, and technical specifications Ensure designs comply with applicable codes, standards, and safety regulations Collaborate with project managers and multidisciplinary teams on project execution Support construction, testing, and commissioning of electrical and I&C systems Perform technical analyses, calculations, and equipment sizing Troubleshoot and resolve system performance and reliability issues Prepare engineering reports, studies, and documentation Interface with vendors and review equipment submittals Contribute to continuous improvement and innovation in low carbon energy projects Required Skills Electrical power system design Instrumentation and controls (I&C) engineering Auto CAD or similar CAD software Protective relaying and control schematics Load calculations and equipment sizing Knowledge of NEC, IEEE, and ISA standards
