Job Description

Electrical Engineer II Mitsubishi Electric Power Products Warrendale, PA on company site for later # 3474854 Position summary xciting Projects•- Be part of high-profile installations in stadiums, arenas, and entertainment venues. Hands-On Innovation - Contribute to projects from design to final execution. Collaborative Environment - Work with industry experts in a fast-paced, dynamic team.
What You'll Do:
Review customer specifications, technical drawings, and commercial terms to develop and prepare the technical and commercial proposals for products, parts, and services. Assist with proposal clarification and negotiation. Prepare preliminary drawings, layouts, component/model selections, and cost and schedule estimates in collaboration with the factory and engineering team. Develop relationships with new and existing partnership customers to build business by working with relevant internal and external stakeholders. Participate in meetings with vendors, factory representatives, and subcontractors to discuss technical and commercial items on current and new products, product design changes, field incidents, quality incidents, and modification and repair issues. Maintain product application notes and specification/price tables. Confirm customer orders are consistent with the Company proposal. Maintain SalesForce bid database, enter orders, and turnover to engineering, production, and contract administration. Identify and communicate all contract requirements and commitments. Support sales personnel in technical matters to ensure timely communication, resolution, and escalation of customers' inquiries or issues. Support the Company's product, parts, and service costs development for capital projects and after-sales support. Recommend prices to support the Company's margin requirements. Participate in customer break-fix response, acting as engineering reference to the technical support team. Further the goals and positive, professional image of the Division through effective dealings with customers and internal departments.
What You'll Bring:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering with 3-5 years of experience in engineering or related field, or equivalent education and experience. Basic knowledge of electrical power protection and distribution systems. Intermediate knowledge of negotiation techniques to assist with negotiating terms and conditions with customers and subcontractors. Advanced interpersonal, communication and presentation skills required to communicate with customers, vendors, and employees. Advanced analytical and problem-solving skills. Ability to read and generate technical drawings and material. Advanced computer skills with emphasis on Microsoft Office products and 2D/3D CAD software. Workplace:
Ability to work in outdoor and indoor environments as required. Ability to climb ladders, catwalks, stairs and work in high places at project sites as required. Ability to travel domestically and internationally up to 20% of the time as required. What's in It for
