Job Description
Akkodis is seeking an Electrical Automation Engineer for a Contract with a client in Dearborn, MI (Hybrid). The ideal candidate will lead controls engineering deliverables for assembly and machining programs, driving software and hardware control architecture implementation from design through launch across global manufacturing sites.

Rate Range:
$40/Hour to $42/Hour; The rate may be negotiable based on experience, education, geographic location, and other factors. Electrical Automation Engineer Job Responsibilities include: Lead assembly and machining controls engineering deliverables from simultaneous engineering through program launch for manufacturing programs. Implement and standardize controls hardware and software architectures across plants in alignment with engineering specifications. Coordinate with Tier I suppliers and cross-functional teams to conduct controls reviews, resolve technical issues, and ensure program success. Troubleshoot and support PLC, CNC, robotics, vision, and automation systems to minimize downtime and maintain production efficiency. Drive continuous improvement initiatives by capturing lessons learned and applying best practices to new and existing programs. Support program launches, equipment installations, and manufacturing operations while managing project timing, cost, feasibility, and quality requirements.Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, Software Engineering, or a related field. Minimum 5 years of controls engineering and manufacturing automation experience. Strong experience with PLC programming, controls architecture implementation, and automation system troubleshooting. Proven ability to lead assembly and machining controls projects from engineering through launch while supporting cross-functional teams in a manufacturing environment. Pay Details:
