What Does the Job Require (Job Description)? As a Controls Engineer / Automation Technician, you'll help design, develop, program, and deploy custom automation solutions for a variety of industrial applications. This role is responsible for taking projects from concept to completion while helping create robust systems that perform reliably in the real world.
Responsibilities Include:
Programming and troubleshooting PLC-based control systems Designing custom automation solutions for client applications Developing machine vision solutions utilizing 2D and 3D technologies Creating electrical schematics, panel layouts, and system documentation Developing HMI interfaces and operator controls Supporting research and development initiatives Assisting with AIQ platform development and technology integration Testing, commissioning, and deploying automation systems Collaborating with customers and internal teams to solve complex technical challenges Are You a Good Fit? You'll thrive in this role if you have: Strong hands-on PLC programming experience Experience with industrial control systems and hardware integration Machine vision experience (2D and/or 3D preferred) Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills Ability to manage projects with minimal supervision Excellent organization and attention to detail A degree is appreciated but not required. Full-time position Flexible scheduling based on project requirements 25% travel time is expected and routine
