Responsibilities + Lead the planning, design, and delivery of complex electrical engineering solutions for healthcare and hospital projects. + Drive growth in the Seattle healthcare market by leveraging existing relationships and developing new client partnerships. + Cultivate and maintain strong, long-term client relationships through a client-centered approach and consistent, reliable project support. + Oversee and coordinate the technical work of local staff, providing direction, quality control, and technical guidance on projects. + Mentor and develop team members, fostering a culture of collaboration, learning, and professional growth. + Use Revit and other design tools to produce, review, and refine electrical engineering designs and documentation. + Manage projects from inception through completion, ensuring seamless execution, adherence to scope, and alignment with client expectations. + Communicate complex technical concepts clearly and effectively to diverse audiences, including clients, internal teams, and external partners. + Collaborate with cross-disciplinary teams to integrate electrical engineering solutions into broader healthcare facility designs. + Support business development efforts by contributing technical expertise, participating in client meetings, and representing the firm in the Seattle healthcare market. Essential Skills + Extensive experience in healthcare and hospital electrical design. + Proficiency in electrical engineering design, including power distribution and related building systems. + Hands-on experience using Revit for electrical design and documentation. + Strong project management expertise with a client-centered approach, ensuring seamless project execution. + Proven ability to cultivate and maintain client relationships, particularly within the healthcare sector. + Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to articulate complex technical concepts to diverse audiences. + Strong leadership skills with the capacity to manage the technical work of local staff. + Passion for mentorship and developing technical talent within the team. + Professional Engineer (PE) license in electrical engineering or a closely related discipline. Additional Skills & Qualifications + Experience with life sciences projects in addition to healthcare and hospital facilities. + An established network in the Seattle healthcare market, or demonstrated ability to develop strong client relationships in this region. + Background working in an employee-owned or ESOP environment is beneficial but not required. + Familiarity with for-profit, growth-oriented professional services environments.
