What You'll Do:
Project Leadership & Engineering Lead medium to large-scale projects from concept through construction Apply advanced electrical design principles, calculations, and system modeling Prepare construction documents, specifications, and cost estimates Manage project budgets, timelines, and client expectations Support business development and client relationship efforts Mentor and guide junior engineering staff Pre-Design Engineering Review as-built drawings and conduct field investigations Develop multi-discipline drawing sets and models Coordinate project schedules, deliverables, and feasibility studies Prepare schematic designs and early-stage concepts Design Engineering Perform energy modeling using EnergyPro or IES VE Develop single-line diagrams and load calculations Design lighting systems and controls Engineer normal, emergency, and renewable power systems Conduct Arc Flash, Short Circuit, and Coordination Studies Contribute to low voltage system design (Fire Alarm, Security, Voice/Data, Nurse Call) (a plus)
What You Bring:
Education & Certifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering EIT Certification (preferred) PE License (a plus) LEED Accreditation (a plus)
Experience:
3+ years of electrical design experience Proven ability to lead projects from concept through construction Technical Skills Proficiency in AutoCAD Experience with Revit Familiarity with: National Electrical Code (NEC) California or Washington Building Codes
HCAI/OSHPD
