Your impact Jacobs is seeking an Electrical Engineering to join our Federal Buildings team in St. Louis, working on projects that bring innovative solutions to our clients' challenges locally and worldwide. This is an exciting opportunity you to join our team and be involved in a variety of electrical engineering tasks for our Federal Clients, such as those regarding design, analysis, and layout of power distribution systems, standby power systems, lighting systems, data communications, equipment relay logic, and instrumentation and controls systems. In this position you will work with a multidisciplinary team taking on a variety of tasks that blend your theoretical knowledge with practical application. Under the guidance of professional engineers, architects and other senior technical staff you will provide electrical system design support for Federal Buildings utilizing software such as computer-aided design (CAD) and Revit you will draft electrical schematics, single-line diagrams, and layout plans. Your responsibilities will also include preparing construction cost estimates, conducting code compliance reviews, performing field investigations, and drafting technical reports and memorandums. During the construction phase, you will provide critical engineering support, including reviewing equipment submittals, shop drawings, and responding to contractor RFIs (Requests for Information). This position requires excellent written and verbal communication skills, a collaborative mindset, and a strong work ethic. Here's what you'll need Currently enrolled in a degree seeking program for Electrical Engineering, Architectural Engineering, or another closely related major from an accredited program Working knowledge of Microsoft Office programs Familiarity with Revit and/or AutoCAD United States Citizenship Ideally, you'll also have: 3.0+ GPA Completed at least two years of undergraduate coursework Working knowledge of Revit and/or Autocad previous electrical engineering internship experience

Posted Salary Range:

Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education or training.
