Mountain Ltd. is seeking a OSP BAU Engineer to work Remotely!
Job Overview:
The ideal candidate's location would be in or around Parkersburg, WV. This is a remote position; there will be instances where on-site meetings with local agencies are required that they will need to attend. This position is not limited to Parkersburg and could be asked to take on work in the surrounding western WV area. The OSP Engineer performs detailed outside plant facility engineering tasks that include estimating, analyzing, fielding, and designing. Performs duties such as collecting field data, preparing/organizing permit packages for submittal to the appropriate entities, maintaining complex files, keeping records, searching, and investigating information contained in files, processing departmental documents requiring specific knowledge of functional operations, posting records including accounting and continuing property records, typing correspondence and reports from rough drafts, and assisting engineers as requested.
Qualifications:
Professional interpersonal skills. Knowledge of NESC guidelines. Strong Aerial/Buried/UG OSP engineering or construction background. Experience in Make-Ready engineering. Ability to review other communication companies' proposed engineering design and determine if they meet client standards along with NESC standards. Strong communication skills. AutoCAD, MicroStation & Adobe Pro experience a plus. Frontier/Verizon systems experience preferred. Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Teams, Excel, PowerPoint) experience or Proficient computer skills and ability to work effectively in a remote environment. Willing to travel within state.
