Job Description
- Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control engineering, or a related engineering discipline and 10 years of related experience; OR
- Master's degree in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control engineering, or a related engineering discipline and 8 years of related experience; OR
- PhD in electrical engineering, instrumentation and control engineering, or a related engineering discipline and 6 years of related experience ## Preferred Qualifications
- Expert knowledge of the principles and practices of engineering
- Expertise developing Instrumentation and Controls deliverables such as Control narratives and philosophies, Piping and Instrument Diagrams (PIDs), Input/Output Lists (I/O), Interconnect Diagrams, Block Diagrams, Loop Diagrams, Schematics, Panel arrangement drawings, Datasheets, Bills of Material (BOMs), and Engineering Work Packages (EWPs).
- Experience developing and contributing to development of scoping documents, control narratives and philosophies, P6 schedules, budgets, staffing plans, and estimates
- Expertise with Control Systems including PLC, DCS, Networking, and E&I database software
- Knowledge of industry standard Electrical design practices
- Skill in researching and analyzing information of considerable difficulty and draw valid conclusions
- Skill in effective communication, both verbal and written, including the ability to actively listen and to adapt behavior and communication style based upon the audience
- Experience in a capital project design office
- Experience with mining and metallurgical process facilities
- Advanced degree and/or Professional Engineering (PE) Certification What We Offer You The estimated annual pay range for this role is currently $138,000 - $193,000.
