Job Description

job summary: Seeking a Project Engineer in Lansing, MI to lead technical deliverables for complex Electric Distribution projects including substation rebuilds. This hybrid role requires an Engineering degree and 5+ years of electric distribution project experience. You will coordinate multi-disciplinary teams and manage engineering contracts to ensure project accuracy and quality from conception through completion.
location:
Lansing, Michigan job type: Contract salary: $57.93 - 62.93 per hour work hours: 8am to 5pm education: Bachelors responsibilities: Lead and coordinate engineering tasks, including planning, design, and execution for major substation rebuilds and economic development projects.

Monitor compliance with QA/QC policies, performance standards, and applicable codes while reviewing engineering deliverables for accuracy.

Serve as the primary technical liaison between internal/external engineers of record, vendors, and contractors to ensure seamless project integration.

Prepare and manage project schedules and resource forecasts, providing technical support to Project Managers to meet tight deadlines.

Oversee engineering contracts and deliverables, utilizing standard engineering theory and procedures to resolve complex technical challenges.
