Senior Electrical EngineerJob Description The Senior Electrical Engineer will contribute to new product development and sustaining projects for our existing installations. This role encompasses a broad range of electrical design activities including system and circuit design, analysis, schematic capture, simulation, bench testing, and documentation. The engineer will manage both in-house design activities and outsourced projects, working across various technologies such as digital and analog circuits, microcontrollers, high power electronics, electro-mechanical devices, firmware development, and EMC testing and troubleshooting. Responsibilities Engage in system and circuit design, analysis, and schematic capture. Perform simulation and bench testing for electrical components and systems. Document designs and testing procedures comprehensively. Manage and oversee outsourced design projects. Work with digital and analog circuits, microcontrollers, and high power electronics. Develop firmware and troubleshoot EMC issues. Essential Skills Proven expertise in electrical engineering and electrical design. Proficiency with Altium for electronic design capture and simulation. Experience designing with MOSFETs, IGBTs, microcontrollers, and firmware development environments. Experience in designing power supplies, including SMPS, electronic ballasts, and pulsed power supplies. Additional Skills & Qualifications Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering. 10+ years of professional experience in electrical design within the medical device, aerospace, or other regulated industries. Work Environment The work environment is dynamic and involves collaboration across a wide spectrum of technologies. The role includes both in-house and outsourced project management and requires a hands-on approach to testing and design. Professionals will work with advanced electronic design tools and are expected to adhere to industry regulations. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Malvern, PA. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $130000.00 - $170000.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
