We offer ample opportunities for professional growth, as evidenced by industry-low turnover. Responsibilities Support the company with the design of complex electrical systems. Lead the preparation of 2- and 3-dimensional construction documents using Revit. Prepare documents, calculations, and energy modeling studies for the LEED certification process. Lead design efforts working closely with our in-house disciplines, architectural clients, and building owners. Plan project production process. Lead the performance of contract administration duties of site visits, submittal review and contractor assistance. Perform project management of a multi-discipline team of engineers Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities Demonstrates proficiency with Revit . Demonstrates a high-level understanding of electrical system concepts. Ability to design and manage large complex electrical building systems. Possess a solid technical base with desire to learn, lead, and grow into one of the firm's lead electrical engineers and project management for building types including healthcare, higher education, science and technology, workplace, and many others. Ability to prioritize effectively, have good follow-through, and practice self-implemented quality control measures. Possess strong written and oral communication skills. Education and Experience Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology. Licensed Professional Engineer Seven to Ten years in experience in the Electrical consulting business, (large systems).
