Senior Electrical Engineer (Electrical Engineering Lead)
The successful candidate will bring strong technical fundamentals, intellectual curiosity, and a proactive mindset, with the ability to take ownership of defined tasks and progressively grow into leading small scopes and teams.
The job responsibilities of the position will include but are not limited to:+ Serve as Lead Electrical Engineer or Engineer of Record.+ Provide technical oversight for complex industrial and power-generation projects.+ Review and approve electrical designs, specifications, and calculations.+ Mentor junior and mid-level engineers.+ Interface directly with clients, plant personnel, utilities, and regulatory agencies.+ Manage project budgets, schedules, and technical quality.+ Support commissioning, startup, and troubleshooting of power systems.+ Work independently with minimal supervision.+ Be recognized as a subject matter expert in power systems.+ Lead major capital projects.+ Make engineering decisions affecting safety, reliability, and regulatory compliance.+ Have significant client-facing and business-development involvement.

- Qualifications
MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS
+ BA/BS in Electrical Engineering + 8 years of related experience or demonstrated equivalency of experience and/or education. + Experience in progressive electrical engineering in industrial facilities, utilities, or power-generation projects. + Experience leading engineering teams and multidisciplinary projects. + Experience with Medium-voltage and high-voltage power systems, Power generation facilities (gas, steam, combined cycle, renewable, cogeneration, Substations and switchyards and Protective relaying and coordination studies + Understanding of Arc-flash and short-circuit studies, Electrical distribution design, Motor control centers (MCCs), Generator interconnection and synchronization and Plant electrical system industrial upgrades and modernizationPREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
+ Masters Degree in Electrical Engineering + Professional Engineer (PE) license + Engineer-in-Training (EIT/FE) certification may be considered acceptable if working toward PE registration within 6 months. + Working knowledge of NEC (National Electrical Code), IEEE standards, NFPA standards, NESC (w applicable), and Utility and power-generation design standards + Proficiency with power system analysis software such as ETAP, SKM, SEL and GE protection applications- Additional Information

- Offered rate of compensation will be based on individual education, qualifications, experience, and work location. The range for this position is $130000 to $160000.
