Job Title:
Senior FPGA Engineer Job Description Design and implement FPGA-based solutions to support real-time, high-accuracy micro-location systems. Incorporate advanced DSP and IQ radio processing algorithms to enable centimeter-level precision in dynamic environments. Responsibilities Design and implement FPGA-based solutions to support real-time, high-accuracy micro-location systems. Incorporate advanced DSP and IQ radio processing algorithms to enable centimeter-level precision in dynamic environments. Streamline FPGA resource usage for high-speed interfaces and precision timing applications. Partner with cross-functional teams (hardware, software, RF, and product design) to explore new approaches for micro-location accuracy and robustness. Investigate emerging technologies and industry trends in signal processing, radio interfaces, and localization methods. Rapidly prototype cutting-edge concepts and translate them into viable, production-ready solutions. Essential Skills 5 years+ experience in
FPGA/ASIC
design and RTL implementation. Solid understanding of DSP algorithms (FFT, filtering, modulation/demodulation) and IQ radio processing. Comfortable working with FPGA development toolchains (Vivado) and version control systems (Git). Proficiency in designing, optimizing, and validating high-performance DSP algorithms, especially for wireless communication or localization technologies. Ability to work from limited initial concept ideas to develop proof of concept systems through production-ready solutions. Thrives in a fast-paced R D environment. Additional Skills & Qualifications Familiarity with error correction, MIMO, beamforming, or similar advanced signal processing methods. Work Environment The position is based in the Southfield office with a hybrid schedule: Mondays and Fridays are remote, while Tuesdays through Thursdays require in-office presence. The work environment is fast-paced and focused on problem-solving. Job Type & Location This is a Contract to Hire position based out of Southfield, MI. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $100.00 - $110.00/hr. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
