Job Description
Senior Electrical Engineer Pay Rate:
$60.15 - $67.67 per hour Olsten Staffing seeking a talented and motivated Senior Electrical Engineer to support the development, integration, and validation of complex electrical and control systems for innovative product programs. This role is responsible for ensuring that systems meet functional requirements, performance objectives, safety standards, and regulatory compliance requirements throughout the product lifecycle. Key Responsibilities- Lead requirements management activities and translate stakeholder needs into detailed subsystem requirements.
- Perform system integration studies, validation testing, and performance evaluations.
- Support project schedules by managing system-level engineering tasks and deliverables.
- Develop and maintain technical documentation, including specifications, wiring diagrams, test plans, reports, and compliance records.
- Conduct performance analyses, cost-benefit evaluations, prototyping activities, and code compliance assessments.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure successful system integration and product implementation.
- Execute root cause investigations and implement corrective actions using structured engineering methodologies.
- Support engineering change processes and configuration management activities.
- Create and maintain system wiring diagrams using E3 or similar electrical design tools. Required Qualifications
- Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering.
- Minimum of 5 years of engineering experience.
- Strong background in electrical systems architecture, integration, and validation.
- Experience with control systems, electrical drives, power distribution systems, and electromechanical equipment.
- High-power transformer qualification and integration experience, including step-up, isolation, and step-down transformers.
- Knowledge of regulatory and code compliance requirements.
- Experience with engineering change management processes.
- Proficiency in root cause analysis methodologies such as DFMEA, Six Sigma, or similar tools.
- Ability to create and maintain detailed technical documentation.
- Strong communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications. Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in systems engineering and requirements management.
- Strong understanding of system architecture development and interaction matrices.
- Experience working in highly regulated product development environments.
- Familiarity with cross-functional product development and implementation processes. Additional Requirements
- U.S. Citizenship or Green Card required.
- Position is primarily onsite in an office environment.
