Job Description

This rapidly growing company is seeking a Controls Engineer to design, test, and program control systems to ensure efficiency and compliance with customer specifications and industry standards. Primary Duties:
Provide skid package control submittals based on sales estimate, equipment selections, project mechanical and electrical drawings, and building management system plans and specifications. Create control system software programs to meet mechanical design, specifications, and system sequence of operation. Develop package systems for system controls and programming. Software control programs include TRANE, JCI, ALC, Allen Bradley. Test, program, and verify control panels before release to production. Develop complete Control and Power Panel wiring diagrams for Panel Assemblers. Coordinate package system site controls installation and systems integration. Work with mechanical, electrical, and BMS control contractors to identify and resolve project scope issues.
Qualifications/Experience:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering, Controls Engineering, or a related field. Proven work experience as a Controls Engineer or similar role. Proficiency in software control programs (TRANE, JCI, ALC, Allen Bradley). Proficiency in electrical wiring, technical assembly, troubleshooting, knowledge of UL standards, and relevant safety certifications. Experience using CAD software. Excellent problem solving and analytical sills. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are necessary to liaise effectively with suppliers, customers, and internal staff at all levels.
