JOB DESCRIPTION/TYPICAL TASK BREAKDOWN

Create models and drawings for various electrical components or assemblies (i.e. sensor groups, wiring harnesses, cables, and mounting brackets). Evaluate the cost effectiveness, reliability and safety of certain design models. Create and/or modify wiring schematics Interpret prints and engineering standards Communicate technical information to team members, other engineering teams and suppliers

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

Years of experience: 0-2 years experience required Degree requirement: Bachelor's Degree in Engineering required.

REQUIRED TECHNICAL SKILLS

Proficiency in application of PTC Creo or other parametric 3D modeling tools Experience with electrical design pertaining to automotive or heavy equipment systems Mechanical print reading and/or drafting experience
