Job Description
Electrical Engineer Join a team developing advanced semiconductor manufacturing equipment used in highly automated production environments. This is an opportunity to lead the design and development of complex electrical systems while working with cutting-edge technologies including robotics, motion control, PLCs, automation, power systems, and vacuum process equipment. Create and release electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, layouts, and technical documentation. Integrate PLCs, motion controllers, robotics, sensors, and power systems into complete solutions. Perform electrical testing, troubleshooting, root cause analysis, and system validation. Support manufacturing, installation, commissioning, and field issue resolution. Ensure compliance with CE, UL, TUV, RoHS, and other applicable standards. Lead design reviews and provide technical guidance to junior engineers. Collaborate with Mechanical, Software, Manufacturing, and Field Service teams throughout the product lifecycle. Qualifications Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 8+ years of relevant experience or Master's Degree in Electrical Engineering with 6+ years of relevant experience. Experience designing complex electromechanical, automation, or capital equipment. Proficiency with AutoCAD Electrical or similar electrical CAD software. Strong background in analog and digital circuit design. Experience with PLCs, motion control systems, robotics, and industrial automation. Ability to troubleshoot electrical systems using oscilloscopes and diagnostic tools. Knowledge of high-voltage electrical systems. Experience with controls design and system integration. Preferred Qualifications Semiconductor equipment experience. Vacuum process equipment experience. PLC cabinet design experience. Advanced robotics and motion control experience. Experience supporting products from development through manufacturing release. Strong technical leadership and mentoring skills. Work Environment Collaborative engineering environment focused on innovation and product development. Cross-functional interaction with engineering, manufacturing, and field service teams. Job Type & Location This is a Permanent position based out of Plainview, NY. Pay and Benefits The pay range for this position is $128000.00 - $162000.00/yr. Individual compensation offered for this position within this range will depend on many factors, including qualifications, skills, relevant experience, job knowledge, geographic location, internal equity, and other pertinent job-related factors. Eligibility requirements apply to some benefits and may depend on your job classification and length of employment.
