Job Description
This full-time summer internship includes a minimum 10-week assignment and offers a competitive monthly salary. Interns may also be eligible for company-provided housing or a housing stipend based on individual needs. Each intern is paired with both a manager and mentor to support their professional growth throughout the program. As an Electrical Engineer Intern, you will support operational, maintenance, and continuous improvement initiatives that enhance manufacturing performance, reliability, safety, and quality across Arconic facilities.

Pursuing a Bachelor's or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering or a related field. Minimum cumulative GPA of 3.0. Expected graduation between August 2027 and May 2028. Employees must be legally authorized to work in the United States. Verification of employment eligibility will be required at the time of hire. Visa sponsorship is not available for this position. This position requires access to controlled technology, as defined in the Export Administration Regulations (15 C.F.R. §730, et seq.) and/or the International Traffic in Arms Regulations (ITAR). Authorizations from the relevant government agency may be required to meet export control compliance requirements.Preferred Qualifications:
Interest in manufacturing, automation, controls, industrial systems, or reliability engineering. Previous internship, co-op, research, or manufacturing experience. Demonstrated success in a team environment. Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Leadership experience through student organizations, extracurricular activities, or community involvement. Initiative, curiosity, and a willingness to learn. Strong teamwork and collaboration skills. Strong analytical and problem-solving skills. Strong written and verbal communication skills. Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications. In this role, you will: Support operational projects and strategic initiatives. Provide engineering support to maintenance and operations teams. Troubleshoot equipment and process issues and assist with corrective actions. Support equipment repairs, rebuilds, and restoration efforts. Develop and improve maintenance and repair procedures. Assist with equipment upgrades and process improvements. Promote quality, safety, environmental stewardship, and operational excellence. Collaborate with cross-functional teams to implement engineering solutions. Present project findings and recommendations to stakeholders and leadership at the conclusion of the internshipBenefits
