Job Description
Job Overview We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Maintenance Staff member to join our dynamic facilities team. In this vital role, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and upkeep of our facilities through hands-on maintenance, repairs, and inspections. Your expertise will help maintain a safe, efficient, and welcoming environment for all occupants and visitors. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your mechanical, electrical, and supervisory skills in a fast-paced setting where every day brings new challenges and opportunities to make a difference. Duties Perform routine maintenance and repairs across various facility systems, including electrical, plumbing, HVAC, and mechanical equipment Conduct inspections using schematics, electrical diagrams, and technical manuals to identify issues and implement solutions Operate tools such as welders, ohmmeters, and other diagnostic instruments to troubleshoot equipment problems effectively Manage facilities maintenance tasks using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS) to track work orders and maintenance history Lead small teams or supervise contractors during specialized projects like welding or electrical upgrades Assist with residential painting projects and other general upkeep tasks to enhance the facility's appearance Ensure compliance with safety standards and conduct regular safety audits to prevent hazards Skills Strong mechanical knowledge with experience in manufacturing or facilities maintenance environments Proficiency in reading schematics, technical drawings, and electrical diagrams Hands-on experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs) and electrical systems Skilled in welding techniques and electrical troubleshooting using tools like ohmmeters Knowledge of CMMS software for maintenance scheduling and record-keeping Excellent customer service skills to interact professionally with team members and visitors Supervising experience demonstrating leadership capabilities in managing maintenance projects or teams Ability to perform residential painting with attention to detail Familiarity with schematics, wiring diagrams, and technical manuals for troubleshooting complex systems Strong communication skills in English for clear documentation and team coordination Join us as a Maintenance Staff member to be at the forefront of maintaining operational excellence!
