In this role, you will be responsible for ensuring the safe and efficient operation of electrical equipment, performing preventive maintenance, and supporting manufacturing and facilities operations. Your expertise will help optimize system performance, minimize downtime, and uphold safety standards. This position offers an exciting opportunity to apply your technical skills in a fast-paced environment while contributing to the success of our operations. Responsibilities Install, inspect, troubleshoot, and repair electrical systems, machinery, and equipment using schematics, technical manuals, and testing tools such as ohmmeters. Conduct preventive maintenance on electrical components to ensure reliability and safety across manufacturing facilities or residential settings. Read and interpret electrical schematics, wiring diagrams, and mechanical drawings to accurately diagnose issues. Operate programmable logic controllers (PLCs) to support automation processes within production lines or building management systems. Perform welding tasks as needed for repairs or fabrication of electrical enclosures or structural supports. Maintain detailed records of maintenance activities using Computerized Maintenance Management Systems (CMMS). Supervise or assist with facilities maintenance projects, including electrical upgrades or installations, ensuring compliance with safety regulations. Skills Strong knowledge of electrical systems, schematics, and mechanical principles relevant to industrial or residential environments. Proficiency in using testing instruments such as ohmmeters for diagnosing electrical faults. Ability to read technical drawings and mechanical blueprints accurately. Facilities maintenance experience with a focus on electrical systems within manufacturing or large-scale facilities. Supervising experience is preferred for leadership roles within maintenance teams Mechanical knowledge applicable to troubleshooting equipment issues beyond electrical components.
