Job Summary:
The Manufacturing Electrical Engineer II will support manufacturing operations through electrical test system development, equipment troubleshooting, process optimization, and continuous improvement. The role requires a hands on electrical engineering professional who can support automated production equipment and manufacturing testers. The engineer will collaborate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and improve equipment reliability and productivity. The position will also support root cause investigations, corrective actions, equipment qualifications, validations, and compliance with applicable quality system requirements.
Key Responsibilities:
Support day to day manufacturing operations by troubleshooting electrical and automated production equipment. Develop, maintain, and optimize electrical test systems and manufacturing processes. Drive continuous improvement initiatives focused on equipment performance, reliability, productivity, and process efficiency. Collaborate with Production, Quality, Manufacturing, and Engineering teams to resolve technical issues and implement corrective actions. Analyze equipment and process performance data to identify improvement opportunities. Support root cause investigations and implement sustainable technical solutions. Ensure manufacturing equipment and processes comply with applicable quality system and regulatory requirements. Support equipment qualifications, validations, and process improvement projects.
Required Qualifications:
Bachelor's Degree in Electrical Engineering or a related engineering discipline. Three to five years of experience supporting manufacturing operations in a regulated or high volume production environment. Experience with automated test equipment, data acquisition systems, or manufacturing testers. Experience using oscilloscopes, multimeters, and other electrical diagnostic tools. Familiarity with electrical schematics and circuit troubleshooting. Strong problem solving and root cause analysis skills. Ability to work effectively within cross functional engineering and manufacturing teams.
Preferred Qualifications:
Experience within medical device, pharmaceutical, biotech, or another regulated manufacturing environment. Experience with equipment qualification, validation, or process validation activities. Knowledge of Lean Manufacturing and continuous improvement methodologies. Experience with PLCs, automation controls, and manufacturing data analysis.
