Job Description

Develop, improve, and implement electrical test processes, relay and PLC control testing, and custom test equipment for industrial electrical systems. Job Requirements Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering (BSEE). Associate degree in Electrical Engineering may be considered with relevant industry experience and active pursuit of a BSEE. Test engineering experience developing, improving, and implementing electrical test processes. Experience programming, configuring, and verifying relays and industrial control systems. Experience with PLC-based control systems. Experience designing and building test equipment, fixtures, or test stations. Experience evaluating existing test methods and implementing process improvements. Knowledge of industrial electrical systems and control architectures. Preferred Skills Experience with Schweitzer Engineering Laboratories (SEL) PLCs or relays. Experience with Allen-Bradley PLCs. Experience with Siemens PLCs. Experience with electrical testing and troubleshooting. Experience building wire harnesses and electrical assemblies. Experience with test process optimization and reliability improvements. Job Responsibilities Develop and implement electrical test processes for industrial products and control systems. Evaluate existing testing methods and identify opportunities for process improvement. Program, configure, and verify relays and PLC-based control systems. Develop test procedures used to verify electrical and control system functionality. Design, build, and implement test equipment, fixtures, and test stations. Recommend equipment and tooling required to improve testing capability. Troubleshoot electrical systems, control systems, and test equipment. Support testing of relays, PLCs, and related electrical assemblies. Provide technical direction to Test Technicians on testing methods and equipment. Improve test efficiency, product quality, and test reliability. Support development and testing of wire harnesses and electrical assemblies. Maintain and update technical test documentation and procedures.
Pay:
