Job Description

HTI is seeking an experienced Senior Maintenance Engineer - Electrical with a leading automotive manufacturer in Dublin, VA. This position will serve as a high-level technical resource for plant equipment reliability, electrical troubleshooting, maintenance strategy, and equipment improvements. The Senior Engineer will work independently on complex equipment issues while also mentoring less-experienced engineers. This position is Direct Hire. The salary range is $96,000 - $118,000 depending on experience.

What You Need:
Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering or Electrical Engineering Technology; Associate degree with significant related industrial experience considered 4+ years of engineering experience involving industrial equipment design, maintenance, or upkeep Strong industrial electrical troubleshooting and broad manufacturing equipment knowledge Experience with automated equipment, controls, motors, drives, robotics, conveyance, or other industrial electrical systems PLC/controls familiarity; Allen-Bradley experience preferred, with Siemens experience a plus Ability to independently evaluate complex equipment issues, identify root causes, and develop long-term solutions Strong communication and teamwork skills with the confidence to provide technical direction to project teams and equipment suppliers Ability to mentor and support less-experienced engineers and maintenance personnel
What Your Role Will Look Like:
The Senior Maintenance Engineer - Electrical will be a technical expert within the maintenance engineering team, supporting a broad range of automated and industrial equipment. This role will focus on equipment reliability, advanced troubleshooting, maintenance strategy, and long-term solutions to recurring downtime while providing technical guidance to others. Serve as a high-level escalation resource for complex electrical and automated equipment breakdowns Analyze downtime and recurring failures, lead root-cause efforts, and implement long-term equipment improvements Define and improve preventive maintenance strategies for new and existing equipment Evaluate equipment independently and recommend repair, replacement, or reliability improvements Identify critical spare parts, assist with sourcing and quotes, and support storeroom stocking strategies Develop maintenance procedures and SOPs for plant equipment Participate in design reviews for new equipment to ensure maintainability and compliance with plant specifications Provide technical guidance and mentorship to engineers and maintenance personnel Work with project managers and equipment suppliers to ensure appropriate components and technical solutions are selected Support a broad equipment environment including Allen-Bradley/Siemens controls, ABB/Dürr/FANUC robotics, motors, drives, conveyors, PID loops, fans, pumps, and rotating equipment About HTI Human Technologies, Inc.
