Position Overview TRAXyL is seeking a skilled Electrical Engineer to join our product development team. This role focuses on designing and developing advanced machinery and specialized equipment that support our innovative infrastructure solutions. You will play a key role in conceptualizing electrical systems, selecting components, evaluating trade-offs, and driving designs from concept through implementation. This is a highly collaborative position working alongside multidisciplinary engineers and technicians in a fast-paced startup environment. Key Responsibilities Lead and collaborate with cross-functional teams to deliver technical solutions and meet project milestones Design, install, maintain, and troubleshoot electrical and electro-mechanical systems with a focus on reliability and precision Develop and evaluate system architectures, components, and design trade-offs Plan and execute testing at the component, subsystem, and system levels; analyze and document results Diagnose and resolve complex technical challenges in both development and field environments Create and maintain electrical schematics using tools such as SolidWorks Electrical, Visio, or similar Support the design and integration of wiring harnesses, control panels, and electrical enclosures Qualifications & Skills 3+ years of relevant technical experience in electrical engineering or related field Strong understanding of small engines and electro-mechanical systems Proficiency in electrical diagnostics and troubleshooting Experience designing and installing wire harnesses for equipment or vehicles Ability to specify wire sizes, connectors, and electrical components based on voltage/current requirements Familiarity with control systems components (power supplies, relays, contactors, etc.) Experience building and assembling mechanical/electrical systems Working knowledge of sensors, I/O systems, and basic system integration Ability to thrive in a dynamic, fast-paced startup environment with a high degree of autonomy Why Join TRAXyL?
