Electrical Engineer Req #8352 Langley AFB, Hampton, VA, USA Apply Share Job Description Posted Monday, September 14, 2026 at 1:00 AM SpecPro Sustainment and Environmental (SSE) is seeking an Electrical Engineer to provide engineering and project support to the 633d Civil Engineering Squadron at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), Virginia. The Electrical Engineer will support electrical system analysis, project development, design review, construction and renovation planning, and coordination with Government personnel and A/E project teams.
What You'll Do:
Prepare layouts, design considerations, and specifications for electrical circuits, equipment, and systems. Diagnose electrical systems, investigate alternatives, and develop technical analyses and supporting data for Government review. Collect and evaluate electrical system field data, including system condition and operating parameters, to identify deviations from standards. Review project designs for compliance with project requirements, compatibility, maintainability, and functionality. Develop project schedules, cost estimates, and statements of work for small projects or portions of larger, complex projects. Support engineering studies and economic analyses for proposed construction, renovation, and modification projects. Coordinate technical matters with Government personnel, A/E firms, Civil Engineering shops, and external agencies. Compile design review comments and provide technical analysis to support Government decisions and approval recommendations. Prepare reports, correspondence, briefing materials, spreadsheets, and other technical documentation. Provide technical engineering support and project coordination.What You Bring:
Required:
Degree in Electrical Engineering required. Demonstrated knowledge of electrical engineering principles, practices, and design. Ability to evaluate electrical systems and develop technically sound recommendations. Ability to interpret engineering requirements and technical documentation. Proficiency with common office and engineering-related software. Strong written and verbal communication skills.Preferred:
Professional Engineer (PE) registration is desired. The position is located at Joint Base Langley-Eustis (JBLE), VA. Normal duty hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. ET.
