Day Shift | Monday-Friday | 8-Hour Shifts Position Overview We are seeking a skilled and dependable Electrical Maintenance Technician to support operations at our state-of-the-art semiconductor fabrication facility in Manassas, Virginia. This role is ideal for an experienced electrical professional who is passionate about safety, reliability, and operational excellence. The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining, troubleshooting, repairing, and improving critical facility electrical systems that support advanced semiconductor manufacturing operations. This position requires strong technical expertise, attention to detail, and a commitment to maintaining the highest standards of safety, quality, and performance. Key Responsibilities Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on facility electrical systems and equipment. Install, maintain, troubleshoot, and repair electrical equipment, components, and distribution systems.
Maintain and service:
Low-Voltage (LV) and Medium-Voltage (MV) switchgear Uninterruptible Power Supply (UPS) systems Battery backup systems Electrical distribution panels Motors, relays, breakers, controllers, and associated equipment Diagnose and repair electrical malfunctions using specialized test equipment and diagnostic tools. Respond quickly to equipment failures, alarms, and emergency situations to restore system functionality and minimize downtime. Perform safe switching procedures and verify equipment status prior to energization.
Interpret and work from:
Electrical one-line diagrams Wiring schematics Construction drawings Blueprints Technical documentation Execute feeder switching on redundant electrical switchboards. Install electrical fixtures, conduit, transmission systems, and associated electrical infrastructure. Monitor facility systems for abnormal operating conditions and collaborate with team members to identify root causes and implement corrective actions. Coordinate maintenance activities with contractors, vendors, and internal stakeholders. Ensure compliance with all applicable safety regulations, including: Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) NFPA 70 (National Electrical Code)

Electrical Safety Standards Company safety policies and procedures Maintain accurate records of maintenance activities, testing, inspections, calibrations, repairs, and equipment performance. Support continuous improvement initiatives to enhance system reliability, safety, and operational efficiency. Minimum Qualifications Minimum of 4 years of hands-on experience working with electrical systems and equipment. Strong troubleshooting and repair experience with industrial electrical systems. Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams, schematics, blueprints, and technical drawings. Working knowledge of electrical safety practices and regulatory requirements. Experience using electrical testing and diagnostic equipment. Strong problem-solving skills and ability to work independently in a fast-paced environment. Demonstrated commitment to safety, quality, and operational excellence. Preferred Qualifications Valid Electrical Journeyman License. 3+ years of experience in semiconductor manufacturing, industrial manufacturing, data center, mission-critical, or similar electrical environments. Associate degree in Electrical Technology, Electronics, Industrial Maintenance, or related field. Additional industry certifications related to electrical maintenance, controls, or industrial systems. Experience working with mission-critical electrical infrastructure and redundant power systems.
