Summary WR has a need for a Senior Electrical Engineer to lead the design, development, and integration of advanced naval electronic systems, ensuring mission-critical performance, durability, and operational reliability in maritime environments. What You'll Do Using considerable experience and judgment, independently designs electronic circuits, components and integrated systems, utilizing ferroelectric, nonlinear, dielectric, phosphorescent, photo-conductive, and thermoelectric properties of materials. Provides technical direction to less experienced personnel and has considerable input on new design directions. Independently consults with clients to gather information about program needs, objectives, functions, features and overall requirements. Provides considerable technical assistance and leadership to other electrical engineers. What Makes This Role Different You're not just designing parts, you're ensuring systems survive real-world conditions at sea You'll work across the full lifecycle: concept design analysis testing deployment Your designs will directly support mission readiness and operational reliability You'll bridge the gap between engineering design and real-world performance Must have qualifications Bachelor of Science degree in Electrical/Electronics Engineering, Computer Engineering, Math, Physics or related discipline Ten (10)+ years of experience in Electronics, to include: Systems/Equipment design, Test and Evaluation support of C4ISR requirements Five (5)+ years of technical experience in support of the design and development of DoD Systems with at least one (1) of the following specialized areas: o Printed Circuit Board (PCB) o Interface protocols (I/O) o Digital design using state-of the art microprocessors o Analog, power, and/or RF design Experience working with CAD software (AutoCAD and Inventor preferred) with extensive knowledge of 3D modeling and creating Bill of Materials The selected candidate will be required to pass a pre-employment third-party background check which may include verification of any of the following: Employment history; Education and/or certifications; Criminal history; Driving Records; Other records or information related to the candidate's suitability for the position.
