Electrical Controls Specialist

The Role We're seeking an experienced Electrical Controls Specialist to lead and support automation, instrumentation, and electrical systems across our plant. This is a hands-on, high-visibility role responsible for keeping critical systems running safely and efficiently—while also driving upgrades and continuous improvement initiatives. What You'll Do Troubleshoot and optimize PLCs, HMIs, and control systems Support and improve plant-wide electrical and instrumentation systems Lead and support capital projects, upgrades, and system integrations Partner with operations, maintenance, and engineering teams Oversee contractors and ensure quality project execution Maintain critical equipment (motors, switchgear, compressors, etc.) Support safety systems (ESD, gas detection, flame systems) Ensure compliance with NEC, EPA, PHMSA, and internal standards What You Bring 8+ years in electrical controls/automation (chemical or process industry preferred) Strong PLC/DCS experience (Rockwell, GE, Emerson PAC8000) Deep knowledge of industrial electrical systems and codes (NEC, ISA, IEC) Experience in hazardous environments and classified systems Proven ability to troubleshoot, lead projects, and drive improvements Strong communication skills and ability to work cross-functionally Degree in Electrical Engineering or equivalent experience Why Join BleachTech High-impact role with visibility across operations Opportunity to modernize systems and lead improvements Growing company with strong investment and direction Team-oriented culture focused on safety and performance If you're a hands-on controls expert who wants more ownership, more influence, and the ability to truly shape an operation—we'd like to connect.

$130,000.00 - $145,000.00 per year
