Job Description
The Leidos Intelligence Sector has an opening for an Electrical Engineer in Reston, Virginia. The successful candidate will work as a member of a government contractor team conducting reverse engineering of above ground and underground structures with an emphasis on urban scene building. Work will be performed in a fast-paced, high-energy environment inside a government facility. Primary Responsibility Diagnose complex electrical system issues and respond to customer and end-user requests for information. Assess functionality of electrical systems and present system vulnerabilities, impacts and outline possible cascading effects. Provide technical support to internal teams and leadership for infrastructure-related decisions. Develop, interpret, and implement the use of software tools and AI tools to carry out facility condition assessments. Collaborates with cross-functional teams and vendors to ensure efficient service delivery. Provides professional electrical engineer inputs on infrastructure design, construction, commissioning, operation and maintenance matters. Provide electrical engineering review of building and facility power distribution, communications, controls, telecommunication and security system. Provide design of electrical systems to support power, communications, controls, fire protection and fire alarm systems, HVAC, and water systems. Perform electrical engineering studies to determine vulnerabilities of mechanical, electrical, plumbing, fire protection, communications, and security systems. Develop standard operating procedures for design, testing, and development of electrical equipment and systems Required Qualifications
