In this role, you will collaborate across disciplines, lead investigations into test issues, and help shape continuous improvement initiatives that strengthen our testing capabilities. Your work will support safety-first operations, data-driven decision-making, and quality-at-source practices—while contributing to products that power communities and industries around the world. How You'll Make an Impact Execute advanced test protocols to ensure product compliance and performance Promote a safe, accident-free work environment through proactive safety practices Improve test methods to increase efficiency, accuracy, and reliability Collect, analyze, and interpret test data to verify requirements Support quality-at-source by training operators on basic test routines Lead investigations into test failures using root cause analysis tools Develop certified test reports, metrics, and technical recommendations Collaborate with customers and internal teams to resolve complex technical issues Your Background Bachelor's degree in Electrical Engineering 2+ years of experience testing liquid-filled distribution or traction transformers Strong knowledge of ANSI, IEEE, IEC, and related transformer standards Proven troubleshooting and root cause analysis skills Clear, effective communication with internal and external partners Experience working in cross-functional engineering environments More about us Hitachi Energy is advancing a sustainable energy future through innovation and collaboration We offer opportunities to grow technical expertise, lead initiatives, and expand impact You'll be part of an inclusive, safety-focused culture that values learning and development Responsible to ensure compliance with applicable external and internal regulations, procedures and guidelines.
