Job Description

Our client, a leading technology and cloud infrastructure provider, is seeking a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II to join their team. As a Data Center Technical Operations Engineer II, you will be part of the Data Center Engineering Operations team supporting critical facility operations, infrastructure maintenance, and data center reliability initiatives. The ideal candidate will have strong troubleshooting abilities, leadership skills, and excellent communication skills, which will align successfully within the organization.

  • Pay Range:
  • $40/hr.
  • What's the Job?
  • + Support Data Center Engineering Operations, including risk management, preventive maintenance, corrective maintenance, vendor management, and operational reporting.
+ Operate and maintain critical infrastructure systems including switchgear, generators, UPS systems, power distribution equipment, chillers, cooling towers, CRAHs, and building monitoring systems. + Manage onsite technicians, subcontractors, and vendors to ensure all work is performed according to established standards and procedures. + Coordinate with IT and business teams to optimize facility safety, performance, reliability, and efficiency while supporting infrastructure projects and capacity planning. + Assist with asset and inventory management, operational reporting, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • What's Needed?
  • + 3+ years of Data Center, electrical, mechanical, or critical facilities experience.
+ Electrical or mechanical background with experience supporting critical infrastructure systems. + Hardware controls experience and understanding of facility operations in high-availability environments. + Bachelor's degree, Technical/Trade School degree, Military Technical Training, or equivalent practical experience. + Strong leadership, organizational, communication, and problem-solving skills with the ability to thrive in a fast-paced environment.
