Job Description

Shape the Future of Aviation Technology Join our team as an Electrical and lead the design of cutting-edge civil and military avionics display systems that pilot the world's aircraft.
What You Will Do:
At Korry, we build the avionics displays pilots depend on when everything else is going wrong. This isn't a spec-execution job — it's a design ownership role. You'll lead the development of high-reliability electronic hardware used in cockpits of commercial and military aircraft, taking products from concept through certification. The right candidate doesn't wait to be told what to build. They interrogate the requirements, find the gaps, and own the outcome. If DO-254 is familiar territory, complex analog design doesn't intimidate you, and you want your work to literally fly — this role is for you.
Preferred Education & Experience:
Lead the development of complex, high-reliability electronic hardware for aerospace and defense applications. Translate high-level requirements into architectural concepts and associated low-level requirements. Review designs artifacts (documents , schematics, code, drawings, etc.) against upper-level requirements. Participate in or conduct risk assessments and contingency plans. Proactively identify and execute process improvements related to product design and development process. Document and present your design performance, and acceptance criteria in design reviews. Become a trusted technical expert, solving complex hardware problems through root cause analysis and impact assessment. Engage in special projects that push the boundaries of airborne electronics. Perform hands-on troubleshooting and design verification of products. Keep up to date knowledge of international airworthiness regulations and new product certification initiatives.
Preferred Education & Experience:
B.S. in Electrical Engineering or M.S in Engineering fields or Science. 5+ years of experience. Experience with aerospace or other industries with highly regulated development processes.
Preferred Skills and Abilities:
Strong foundation in electrical engineering fundamentals including knowledge of digital and analog circuit design, analysis, power conversions, and board layout. Knowledge of CAN, ARINC, and other common communication protocols, with an ability to program and debug using hardware and software environments. Knowledge and experience with aerospace standards DO-160, DO-254 and
MIL-STD-704/461
is a strong plus. An innate ability to troubleshoot and solve complex electrical problems with a creative and analytical mindset. Proficiency in electronic design and schematic tools (e.g., ePADS, Xpedition, PSpice) and a deep understanding of circuit design and analysis. A solid understanding of EMI mitigation design concepts. Jira & Agile project management methodologies. Product Lifecycle Management tool Strong communication skill and collaborative mindset.
Physical Requirements:
Frequent use of personal computers, database and digital platforms, and other office productivity machinery, such as copy machines and computer printers. Frequently uses hands, fingers, and arms to reach, handle, touch or feel equipment, materials, and computer. The person in this position needs to frequently move inside the office Frequent close vision and the ability to adjust focus. This is Position is onsite.

Salary Range:
Please note the typical hiring range is $127,500 - $172,500 annually. Job offers within the range are based on significant job qualifications and pay equity.
