POSITION SUMMARY
To translate customer requirements into reliable and manufacturable electrical designs. This is achieved through close collaboration with engineering and manufacturing teams as well as through disciplined adherence to established standards for design, cost, and documentation throughout the product development lifecycle.
ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
  • Able to independently design new components or products or modify existing designs.
  • Must be a collaborative team player capable of working in a fast-paced environment, with demonstrated ability to manage multiple tasks and competing demands.
  • Actively solicits and participates in product design and validation reviews to eliminate design errors, maximize the use of common parts, and optimize manufacturability and cost.
  • Key participant and/or owner in development testing, engineering analysis, qualification testing, and product launch activities.
  • Learn and implement internal and supplier manufacturing processes, components, and technologies.
  • Collaborates with internal colleagues, managers, and suppliers across Engineering, Operations, Quality, and Supply Chain.
  • Produces and maintains schematics, PCB layouts, drawings, and specifications, including engineering change orders.
  • Completes all assignments in accordance with predetermined schedules and budget constraints.
EDUCATION AND/OR EXPERIENCE
  • Bachelor's degree in electrical engineering or a related technical field is required.
  • Over 5 years of professional experience in electronic and power designs.
  • Working knowledge of engineering databases and corporate document control systems.
  • Proficient in PCB Layout and Schematic Design software, with a strong preference for Altium Designer.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities, including a demonstrated capacity for innovation.
  • Hands-on experience with design verification testing and applying Design for Manufacturability (DFM) principles.
  • Proficiency in DC and AC power system design is strongly preferred.
  • Experience with embedded controller/processor design and C programming is highly desirable.
  • Highly skilled in the use of Microsoft Office tools, including Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and team collaboration software.
LANGUAGE AND PEOPLE SKILLS
  • Fluent in English, with full professional proficiency in both verbal and written communication.
  • Demonstrated ability to collaborate effectively with remote, cross-organizational international teams.
  • Strong organizational, planning, and time-management skills with a proven ability to deliver results.
COMPENSATION
Pay Range:
$90,000-$105,000
Status:
