NASA, SPACE X, Virgin Galactic, Boeing and AIRBUS = Stability 115K to 125K Base + 8% Bonus + Best Benefits in Metals + 9% 401K Match + Best Relocation Package in Metals Responsibilities Manage and execute asset care and reliability plans within the assigned area of responsibility Proactively communicate equipment status, uptime, performance metrics, and KPIs to relevant stakeholders Apply engineering principles to analyze equipment issues and develop effective technical solutions Evaluate equipment downtime and develop corrective action plans Identify and secure parts, materials, and equipment required to support operational and project needs Provide mentoring and coaching to early-career engineers and technical team members Oversee contractor activities during outages and project-related work Prepare and manage documentation required for capital project approvals and funding requests Initiate, lead, and participate as a subject matter expert in capital projects Provide technical guidance, support, and training to skilled trades and maintenance personnel Qualifications Bachelor's degree in Engineering from an ABET-accredited program Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively in a team environment Working knowledge of AutoCAD, SAP, Microsoft Project, and Microsoft Office applications Ability to meet applicable pre-employment testing requirements Strong willingness to learn and ability to manage multiple priorities Adaptability to new environments and changing priorities Effective written and verbal communication skills with the ability to tailor communication to diverse audiences Strong time management and organizational skills with the ability to meet deadlines
Preferred:
Training or experience in root cause failure analysis (RCFA), project management, or meeting facilitation Experience supervising craft personnel, contractors, or vendors Experience in unionized work environments Familiarity with applicable safety and regulatory standards (e.g., OSHA, MSHA, ANSI, NFPA) Technical Requirements Solid understanding of AC and DC control systems Knowledge of motor and generator theory Working knowledge of electrical systems up to medium voltage levels (e.g., 13.8 kV) Strong PLC programming and operational troubleshooting skills Basic understanding of hydraulic and pneumatic systems Knowledge of predictive and preventive maintenance practices Experience using CMMS platforms for work management and purchasing processes Familiarity with data acquisition and analysis tools for troubleshooting and performance monitoring Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics, mechanical drawings, and P&IDs Understanding of industrial machinery specifications and operating procedures
Pay:
$115,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
